NHToDo.com Enhances Events Calendar

LONDONDERRY, NH - March 1, 2008.  NHToDo Magazine, the monthly activity-based magazine with feature articles all about discovering New Hampshire's excitement and adventure, recently rolled out their newly-designed Online Events Calendar.

Executive Editor Daron H. Libby explains, "More and more readers are turning to the internet to find current information about New Hampshire events. We hadn't updated our system since 2003 and it was high time for an overhaul. The new format makes it much easier to find NH events information and offers a lot more of it."

From the outset, New Hampshire ToDo magazine has always listed major fairs and festivals on its website, www.nhtodo.com, including date of the event, town, phone, and website. The new format parallels what is printed in the magazine and now includes the event time, cost, and a short description. And the new database has room for future information to include a photo and video.

Also, the new display system sorts the events by month and automatically displays the events for the current month. The general public can select any month from a pull-down menu to see past or upcoming events.

Mr. Libby adds, "It has been my experience that online events calendars often have two major problems. One, is that there are so many sorting options that it makes it difficult for the casual browser to find the information they're looking for. Second, there is usually way to many events listed and you can find a weely Reiki Class in the same list as the Hopkinton State Fair. So we don't list every single event we can find out there. We just list the major festivals that we feel hundreds of people will be interested to know about."

Mr. Libby believes the general public will find the new events calendar system at www.nhtodo.com to be the most useful, current, and extensive system for upcoming New Hampshire events available anywhere on the internet.
